Match Reports

7 Nov H North Wingfield L 2-3 Josh N, Brandon
Town played their first home game of the season against table toppers North Wingfield but finished up losing 3-2. Town fought well but two goals at the end of the first half from their visitors meant an uphill battle for the second 35 minutes. This was compounded even more when North Wingfield scored a third shortly into the 2nd half. Great credit to Chesterfield who never gave up and a long shot from Josh Neale found its way through the keepers legs for 3-1. Brandon O'Neill then bundled in a second following a corner with 7 minutes left. Despite their gallant efforts Town couldn't find the equaliser. Man of the match went to Robbie Walters.
31 Oct A Wingerworth Cobras D 4-4 Josh N 2, Josh B
we had a tricky away game to bottom of league wingerworth cobras, they started the better team but we soon found ourselves 1-0 against the run of play.we soon went 2 up before they pulled a goal back to make it 2-1 at half time.they started the better team in the second half before we made it 3-1, they had a couple of fantastic free kicks from the edge of the box to make it 3-3, it was a battle for both teams to the final whistle in a game that finished 4-4, Josh Neale scored all 4 and man of the match was robbie walters.
10 Oct A Heanor D 3-3 Josh N 4

A long trip to Heanor and after a good start took the lead through Josh Shipp but after that switched off and was 3-1 down at half-time. The lads fought hard in the second half to come away with a 3-3 draw, Josh Neale scoring a brace and also missing a penalty. Man of the match was Jake Irani.
