The
girls played their final game today, the final of the league cup,
v Whaley Bridge, unfortunately we were unsuccessful in winning the
treble, we lost 3 nil.Whaley Bridge had done their homework on us
and totally transformed their formation leaving us very little room
to play football.All the girls battled well and finished the game
with their heads held high with the knowledge of knowing they had
won the two big ones, league and cup final. well done girls we are
very proud of you all.player of the match was awarded to Georgina
Wilby.A presentation was held on the pitch after the game and we walked
away with a nice piece of silverware to keep as runners up!!!!!.

The
under 13`s girls played in the final at Matlock town ground all
hopes pinned on lifting the challenge cup!!!! We started nervously
but an early goal from Abbie Barlow soon put the girls into a more
settled mood, Abbies superbly timed run and skill on the ball saw
her take the ball past Whaley`s defence and shoot straight on target
taking her goals scored this season to an amazing 32 goals, our
top goal scorer!!!, our second goal came from Ellie Dunn, another
well thought out run and well placed strike into the back of the
net taking her goal scores achieved this season to a staggering
25 goals.Our player of the match was awarded to Olivia Owen who
wore the captains band for this game as she is the longest standing
member of the squad and has been with the club since the girls teams
started so a massive thumbs up to Olivia for her commitment and
hard work. We went onto to win the game 2-0 and the girls faces
said it all as the final whistle was blown... they had done the
DOUBLE!!!!! Huge congratulations to all the girls they deserve these
victories so much for all their hard work all season, and a massive
thankyou to all parents, spectators and sponsors for your roles
too and for your huge commitment to chesterfield Town F.C. Enjoy
Girls you deserve this!!!!!!! ..... Now for the treble haha

under 13`s girls played their last league game of the season today
away v Weds Wanderers, we won 8-0. Leigh
Worsdale scored 4, Abbie Barlow 2 and Emily Stevenson and Ginny
Doxey 1 each. This sees us walk away with the
title, after playing 14 games we have won 13, lost 1, goals for
a whopping 84, goals against 12, goal difference of 72, 39 points
and first position!!!!.

2-0, A well matched game saw none stop action from both sides battling
it out for top spot, after recently knocking Whaley Bridge off top
spot on league table Both teams were willing an important win, however
we were unsuccessful in our quest and had to be satisfied with holding
them to just a 2-0 defeat.Our player of the match was awarded to Olivia
Owen for a solid performance in defence stopping them from making
the score line even higher, well done to all the girls your only 2nd

under 13`s girls played the first leg of their cup today against Wednesday
Wanderers and won 17-0, A great game of football and performance by
each of the girls, they kept their shape throughout, concentration
along with determinationand a solid defence saw this excellent score.
Newcomer Emily Stevenson played her first game and she scored her
first goal, In the closing minutes our Goalie Ginny Doxey came out
of nets to also score her first goal for Chesterfield Town. Our goal
scorers were:-Ellie Dunn 4, Abbie Barlow 4, Georgina Wilby 2, Leigh
Worsdale 2, Shannon Ashmore, Lauren Hemingway, Megan Weston, Ginny
Doxey and newcomer Emily Stevenson.
Player of the match was awarded to Ginny Doxey.
